The season for autumn leaves has come.
I've heard that there are many autumn leaves viewing spots in the southern
and the eastern
region of Lake Biwa.
It's said that Kotou-sanzan and Eigenji temple especially are famous for the beautiful
colored leaves.
Kotou-sanzan means three great Tendai temples located in the eastern region
of Lake Biwa.
They are Saimyouji, Kongourinji and Hyakusaiji temples.
When I searched the Internet to see how red the leaves turn，it said they
have just begun
to turn color little by little.
And so first I visited Eigenji temple to search the actual condition of
autumn leaves.
It's because I would like to go to Kotou-sanzan to enjoy the autumn color
just when the
leaves are at their peak color.
I considered whether I visit there by my precious road bike or not.
But I judged that it would be too difficult for me to take a day trip to
Eigenji temple by bike.
It's because it is too far to make a bike trip.
And so I went there by train and bus.
As reported on the Internet，the leaves have just begun to turn red.

According to the local tourist information center，the leaves would be at their peak color
around Nov.20.
I'm going to visit Kotou-sanzan then.
