My daughter came back temporarily to my home in Japan from Bangkok in Thailand getting two
weeks vacation from her office.
She has been working for the UNEP in Bangkok since last November to do
her internship after
graduation from grad school in Holland.
She planed a family trip to Izu to enjoy cherry blossoms and hot spring
during her stay.
As I and my wife were OK for it，she took a hotel reservation on the internet.
From last Tuesday，we took one night trip to Izu-kogen.
On that day, after arriving at JR Izu-kogen station by limited express,
the Odoriko, we walked along
the street called Sakura-namiki Street famous for the long row of cherry
blossom trees to enjoy
cherry blossoms.
The cherry blossoms were just in full bloom.
Many visitors were enjoying them in full bloom.

And then we walked to Mt.Omuro through the street.
We went up to the top by a bar lift.
It was a little bit windy and cold at the top.
But the panorama of the sea and sky was really fantastic.

We relaxed with delicious cuisine and enjoyed hot spring at the hotel.
On the following day，after checking out at 10 a.m., we enjoyed walking
on the natural trail along
east coast of Izu taking about three hours.

It was rough and had many ups and downs.
The walking was good for our health although we were very tired.
Anyway, I had first nice family trip with my daughter in a long time.
