The Aioi which illuminations were lighted up
|
From last Saturday to Sunday,
I took one night trip to Ito in Shizuoka
prefecture in order to do the general
yacht cleaning, decorate the yacht
with some illuminations and join in
the year-end party for the yacht
club which belonged to Sun-rise
Marina in Ito.
Seven regular members from
Aioi yacht club joined in it including
a captain who was an owner of the
yacht.
We cleaned the yacht during
the morning.
First, we separated the useful things
and the useless ones from inside it.
And then we dumped all the useless and shabby things into the dustbin.
Anyway, we were very surprized to know it collected so much dirt in this
year.
From the afternoon, we worked very hard for decorating it with some illuminations like
lines with so many LED's lamps.
These illuminations will be lighted up from 5 p.m. to midnight every day
till the end of
this year.
After we finished this work before sunset, we had some tests of lighting
in the twilight.
It was so beautiful and fantastic that it was received with cheers from
many visitors.
After we moved to a hotel and warmed ourselves in hot spring, we went to the year-end
party for the yacht club.
About eighty members were at the party.
An awarding ceremony was also held during the party.
The general result of the yacht races in this season was reported and
our team, AIOI
was awarded the first prize.
Off course, we had our photograph taken with a trophy and a few award's plaques in
commemoration of the victory.
After that, we went to Karaoke bar nearby and enjoyed Karaoke till midnight
celebrating the victory.
We broke it up making a promise that we would meet each other again for yacht sailing
next year.
