I took two night trip to Hokkaidou to be at the past company's reunion the week before
last.
On the first day, I flied from Haneda to Shin Chitose by All Nippon Airlines.
I went sightseeing alone to Otaru from Shin Chitose by JR line.
I saw the sights in Otaru by Otaru Stroller's Bus.

On arriving at Otaru station,
I suddenly this pop,"
Otaru-no-hitoyo "and hummed
to myself.
First, I visited Otaru canal.
According to travel brochures,
the Otaru canal, symbol of Otaru,
was built in 1923.
It had really a fantastic and peaceful landscape.
Old warehouse buildings made of stone produced a romantic and nostalgic
atomosphere in the street.
And then I enjoyed sushi lunch with local sake at sushi bar on a street
famous
for sushi.
It was really excellent because its materials were fresh fish and shellfish
which were
fished locally.
After that, I visited major sightseeing spots again by bus, like local sake's brewery
of long standing, Otaru marina, Ishihara Ujiro's memorial Hall and some
histrical
building.
I stayed overnight at a hotel in Susukino in Sapporo.
Anyway, this trip in Otaru will always remain in my memory.

On the second day, I came back to Shin Chitose airport, joined other mates
there and
went to the golf course nearby by bus of the golf club.
Although it was in eary summer, it was not hot and humid.
You know, even in summer, that is a characteristic weather in Hokkaidou.
So, we could enjoy golf on the green course.
After that, we came to Hotel Mahoroba in Noboribetsu Onsen by a local
bus and
joined all other mates of another group.
We renewed the friendship with past coworkers till midnight, while having dinner, or
relaxing with hot spring.

On the last day, saying to everyone, "See you again.", because
it was scheduled
beforehand for us to break the reunion up here on that day, I left there
alone for Lake
Toya where was a part of Shikotu Toya national park.
You can get a clear picture if you click each one.
It drizzled in the morning but it had stopped raining when I arrived at Lake Toya,
I enjoyed a cruise on a pleasure boat arround Lake Toya for about an hour.
The view from the boat after the rain was really fantastic and misterious.
I could see Mt.Usu and a smoking Mt.Shouwa-Shindan clearly.
Also I could see the Windsor Hotel on the hilltop vaguely, where the summit in 2008
would be held at.
I felt here would be an ideal place for the summit.
Anyway, I enjoyed the great nature very much.
